🍡SYN Scans

SYN scans are used to scan the TCP port-rangeof a target. They are somtimes referred to as "stealth" or "half-open" scans.

Whenever SYN scans send back an RST TCP packet after recieving a SYN/ACK from the server which prevents the server from repeatedly trying to make requests.

Nmap can only use a SYN scan with sudo permissions.
